Rhona Garvin

Rhona studied at University College London and Brighton University. She graduated in 2004 with an MA in Sequential Design and Illustration. Since then, she has undertaken a wide range of commissions including editorial illustration, corporate literature and packaging design.

Rhona loves making images that call to mind vintage printed ephemera, children's book illustration and posters - images that are pared right back. Screenprinted work has a wonderful hand-made quality and working in a small space at home forces her to be economic with size and number of colours, which suits the kind of work she wants to make - limits are good!
