Liz Foster

Liz trained as a painter at the Glasgow School of Art, and over the past 15 years has exhibited her work nationally. Over recent years her work has become more closely linked with textiles, with elements of sewing and embroidery finding its way in to her canvases. Alongside teaching fine art she taught photography and graphic design. It was during this time that she developed her interest in typography.

In 2008 with the birth of her son, she decided to give up teaching and start Liz Foster Design. All her textile pieces are handmade using top quality fabrics including wool, linen and silks. Each piece is unique and the designs and colour ranges are constantly evolving.
